  I just did these aceos. I have trouble selling my art, but on eBay I sell quite a few of these. I don't get much but I would like to keep doing these during my retirement.

 

 Here we are at the end of another summer. It seems they go by faster and faster each year. That beautiful golden glow will soon give way to the early dusky sundowns of fall. I have seen the morning glories blooming, a sure sign of Autumn. Still the honeysuckles hang on, refusing to give over. They usually lower the lake during the winter months and I can see where it is beginning. I wish they wouldn't do that but I guess it's for the dam. We don't want it to break again. I do love Autumn. The cool foggy mornings with the colors peeking through the gloom. Sunny days to pick apples and pumpkins. Chilly nights to sit around a firepit. I just feel a sense of melancholy because I know that the year is winding down and winter is just around the corner.

  I made this by pouring paint into these glass ornaments and shaking them to get the designs. I was not expecting these colors when I poured the paint. I did make others with more festive colors which I will post later. I thought these were more Halloweeny then Christmasy.

I remember where I was and what I was doing when I saw the first plane hit. I thought like many others it was a tragic accident. Then the second hit and I knew we were under attack. And for the next two hours along with everyone else I saw them go after our financial institutes, our military, and try for our governing body. That day many Americans lost their sense of security and naivety.  We as a nation came together that day with our shared anger and patriotism, but it didn't take long for that to fade. Twenty -two years later and we are more divided then ever. Because it is not in the One World agenda that America be strong. A divided people are easier to control. There, I am ranting.
