  First full moon of autumn 2026. So beautiful.

  This was going to be another twenty minute painting session but I just couldn't stop. I wanted paintings that reflected a sunny autumn morning with morning glories. I hope I have achieved my goal.

 Technically, it's not Autumn yet, but I wanted to use the colors I associate with an autumn evening. I'm going to put these aceos on my eBay page tonight. 

 I tried to get some painting done tonight but it was a struggle. I kept getting interrupted by my cats. And Peach attacked me twice from behind and kinda hurt me. So I'm not sure if I like these paintings.

 I started painting but then the ornaments took over. This is on my work table as I leave the studio tonight.

 My Internet is out so I pulled out my old CD player and am listening to this CD while I paint. I really like this CD just haven't listened to it in years.

 I just finished these tonight. I'm so excited for fall to get here and wanted to use the colors of autumn. I'm putting them on eBay later.

  These were from a twenty minute painting session based on the feeling of being at the county Fair. Popcorn, cotton candy, a warm starry night. I would really like to do twenty minute sessions every day but I know that won't happen. I am really sleepy when I get home from work.

               Did everyone see the blood moon?

 Gelli plate printing tonight. Lots of fun but I can see where my problem is going to be. I have no patience. I need to let the paint dry some but I want to lay down another layer too quickly. I must learn how to wait.

Everyone on the gelli art Facebook page seemed to like this one the most. The paper I used was acid free mixed media 140 pound paper. A little stiff but doesn't bleed through.  

  This is my first attempt at gelli plate printing. May do collage on some of them.

.       Finally getting some peppers on this plant.   

 Friday morning it was raining and gloomy, but here was a bright spot to lighten the morning.

  Look at these clouds.

  I was given this pepper plant by my dad. He pulled it up out of his yard and gave it to me. I, however, cannot keep a plant alive. They all suicide in my yard.  I thought this one was destined for the same fate with the dry, hot weather, but it made a rebound after all the recent rain. It even has a small bloom. Maybe it'll survive after all.

  I got to spend some time with friends at the Crowder concert at Funfest in Kingsport, TN. I love this guy's music and his love of Jesus.

I thought that I would use Frisking liquid to make a nice space around the edges of my small paintings. I realize now that I do not like using it. Maybe if I were doing watercolor only, but since I do mixed media work frisking liquid is not feasible. Tape is better.

This picture will go down in history. And seriously, they had smallish women guarding him. Secret service, do better.
