October full moon 2023


 Beautiful full moon tonight. I also heard something walking around in the dark and turned on my flashlight to see what it was and saw eye shine. It was my little feral cat watching me.

And even though the Lord is not mentioned in the story I can also see His love for us, His children.  I was actually struggling with this painting as an abstract until I was passing it on my way out of my studio and happened to look at it and saw the figures of the two women, the older and the younger. I like to think that the Holy Spirit showed them to me. The work is done on a 12 x 12 wooden panel.
